I am always going to want to read a romance novel set in the music industry, and Still Into You was definitely calling my name.

Three years ago, Sloane fell in love with the lead singer of a metal band. Their romance was short-lived, though. She still had to finish her journalism degree, and his band was about to go on a tour. While it made sense to end their summer fling, it still hurt to let him go.

Three years later and Sloane is still looking for a permanent job as a music journalist. When she gets the opportunity to be the first journalist to interview Final Revelations in eight years, she knows that this could be the opportunity that she’s been waiting for, but she’s also not sure how it will feel to interview her ex-boyfriend’s band and spend time with the only man she's ever loved.

Still Into You was a solid second-chance romance. The characters were likeable and the story flowed well, but there was just something missing for me. I wanted a bit more angst to the story. While the author took her time with the romance between the main characters, I was expecting more push and pull between them. After three years apart it just felt a bit too easy. With that being said, I still enjoyed my time within the pages of this story. The author’s writing about the music industry felt authentic and her love of music shone throughout.
