2 Book Lovers Reviews

July is all about chilling out by the pool or at the beach and enjoying a book or two…or three…maybe four.  Seriously, who’s counting! You’ve probably already got a few books set aside for your vacation or staycation (my list is getting quite long), but here are a few upcoming releases that have caught my eye.   Just “click” on the book title to read the synopsis.

- July 1The Mixtape  – By Brittainy C. Cherry - Rock star romance!  This book kind of had me at the title.  Not to age myself or anything, but I may have made a mixtape or two in my younger days.

- July 1Pieces of You: Pieces Duet #1  – By Jay McLean - I have to have an angsty book or two on my reading list at all times, and this one looks like it will have all of the emotions, heartache, and butterflies that I always crave.

- July 6What If You & Me (Say Everything #2)  – By Roni Loren - I read and loved the first book in this series.  I'm definitely looking forward to reading more!  Read my review of Yes & I Love You.

- July 6Together We Will Go – By J. Michael Straczynski - The Breakfast Club meets The Silver Linings Playbook? Yes, yes, and more yes!  Psst!  My blogging partner read it and loved it.

- July 13The Final Girl Support Group – By Grady Hendrix - I love a good thriller/horror novel, and this one looks like it will give me all of the requisite thrills and chills.
In horror movies, the final girls are the ones left standing when the credits roll. They made it through the worst night of their lives…but what happens after?

- July 20Hot Under His Collar – By Andie J. Christopher - A forbidden/taboo romance?  Yes, please!

- July 20For Your Own Good – By Samantha Downing - Here's another thriller that is screaming my name and begging me to read it.

Teddy Crutcher has won Teacher of the Year at the prestigious Belmont Academy, home to the best and brightest.
He says his wife couldn’t be more proud—though no one has seen her in a while...

What books are you looking forward to this month?  Let me know!
