It’s the time of year where we get to sit back and reminisce about all of the books that we’ve read over the past year. I don’t know about you, but despite not reading as many books as I would’ve liked, I still managed to read some truly memorable novels. Did I meet my reading goal this year? Yes, but I always strive to read more. Did I buy more books than I read this year? Uhm…let’s not get too judgmental. Did I whittle down my TBR list? How could I have with all of the extra books that I bought! ;)
This list is made up of the novels that stuck with me, that struck a chord with me, that perhaps made me laugh, made me cry, but always made me feel. They just made me happy to be a reader, and isn’t that what it’s really all about?
As I look ahead to 2023, I can only hope that it is filled with some wonderful books. May your 2023 be filled with health, happiness, and plenty of 5-star reads!
