Operation Bounce House

I’m going to start off by saying that I love Dungeon Crawler Carl. Oliver Lewis is not Carl; and I suppose we really shouldn’t want him to be Carl – that is a different story.

Dinniman has a style that might not be too far from a schtick. His books are statements. Operation Bounce House seemed very relevant to events going on right now. So relevant that I don’t know how he was able to get such a complete story out while all of this stuff is going on. But I suppose that these things going on right now are not new. These are all part of the flaws that exist in humanity.

Operation Bounce House started off slow; it built up as time went on. As I started the story, I thought This is good, but it isn’t blowing me away. The more I listened (this was an Audible), the more I wanted to listen, the more that I would find times and places to listen to the story – now that is a good sign.

The story has a Dinniman-ish cast of characters; each one was unique and over the top. This author creates characters that are easy to connect with. We all laughed and cried; it was better than cats (Donut might not appreciate that comment).

This book comes highly recommended.
