Cocky Client was a fun, quick way to escape reality for a little while. Once again, Whitney G. has provided her readers with a sexy novella in her Steamy Coffee Collection to read and enjoy in one sitting.
We’ve all had those days where we would’ve been better off just staying in bed. After a morning filled with mishaps and bad luck, Penelope should have known that things were going to go from bad to worse with her meeting with a prospective client for her PR firm. Poor Penelope. In a city as populated as New York City, what were the chances that she would come face-to-face with her one-night stand from the previous night?
With running her own small PR firm and trying to gain new clients and grow, having a client of Ryan Dalton’s caliber would undoubtedly help her small firm get noticed, but with his reputation of being a PR nightmare, Penelope wasn’t too certain she was up for that kind of challenge. With his cocky attitude, poor reputation, womanizing ways, and lack of cooperation he was a difficult project to take on. Add that to the fact that they had also been intimate and that’s a recipe for disaster. For the reader, though, it just ended up being a lot of fun to witness.
