Alessandra Torre duped me… seriously, she completely fooled me, shocked me, left my mouth gaping open in utter disbelief! I will admit that I am usually pretty good at figuring out what is going to happen in a book while I’m reading it. Nope, not this time! I did not see any of it coming.

Black Lies certainly takes you on a memorable journey filled with drama, angst, lust…and surprises! The characters were so well done, so perfectly created to weave this elaborate tale of love and deception. It was one of the most uniquely written love stories that I have read in a long time.

I enjoy books that put my heart through the ringer, make me feel strongly about the story and give me nervous butterflies in my stomach…and this book delivered all of that and then some. I can’t elaborate on the story because I really don’t want to ruin it for anyone (even though I am dying to talk about it)! If you think that you have read just about every storyline imaginable, think again. This book will introduce you to a whole new level of relationship woes.
